The new municipal regulations apply to the installation of stalls, whether on municipal or private land, in addition to other applicable norms such as fiscal, sanitary, or labor regulations. Associations and collectives, as well as individuals or companies with the corresponding fiscal license for this activity, will be able to install stalls.
The obligation to subscribe to a Civil Liability Insurance with a minimum coverage of 90,152 euros is established. In food stalls, the use of gas fryers will be mandatory. Stalls exclusively for food or those combining food and music must comply with the regulations on the use of glass and have security personnel. Stalls dedicated solely to music will require private security throughout the fair days, with a variable number of personnel depending on the day.
The Edict on the Use of Glass Cups, issued by Mayor Ramón Hernández Lucena, aims to enhance safety at the fair. In stalls without food service, the access or possession of glass cups is prohibited. In stalls serving food, their use is only permitted inside, provided there is security personnel controlling user access and exits.
Stalls must display a sign at their entrance indicating their name and that of the responsible person, company, or association. Deposits and fees will be governed by the corresponding fiscal ordinance. The City Council will manage the electrical installation, requiring notification of the contracted power and a certificate from an authorized installer.
Applications, to be submitted at the Registry Office, must specify the type of installation, exact surface area, and activity. Those responsible must be up-to-date with payments to Social Security and Public Treasury. The deadline for submitting applications is Tuesday, September 1st, at 2:00 PM. The final location of the stalls will be decided irrevocably by the municipal festivities commission.
Maintaining optimal hygienic-sanitary conditions is required. Mandatory documentation includes the responsible party's NIF, a copy of the Civil Liability Insurance, an application for public land if applicable, and the Responsible Declaration for Fair Stalls to prevent foodborne illnesses, available at the Registry Office or on the municipal website.
