The headquarters of the Business Association of the Colony of Fuente Palmera served as a meeting point for companies from the municipality and representatives from Metalcórdoba. The event was designed as a space to identify needs, generate synergies, and foster collaboration among the local business community.
Representing the City Council were the Councilor for Citizen Participation, Quique González, and the Councilor for Finance, Sonia Rovira. They were joined by representatives from both associations and local entrepreneurs from La Colonia.
During the meeting, the City Council presented ongoing initiatives to improve conditions for attracting new businesses and facilitating the growth of existing ones, emphasizing the availability of industrial land. It was reported that phase 1A of Los Fruteros has been awarded, and progress is being made on phase 1B in collaboration with Grupo Cinco.
The meeting also addressed key business concerns such as the need for qualified professionals, specialized training, digitalization, and the creation of new collaboration channels.
The City Council reaffirmed its commitment to continue working with the business sector and entities to promote economic activity, training, and employment in La Colonia.
