Civil Guard agents, as part of operation Grisu-Delanava-26, have arrested two individuals as alleged perpetrators of a crime of forced entry and theft at a farm in Peñarroya-Pueblonuevo. Two other people have been detained for receiving stolen goods.
The events came to light after the owner of a farm located in the municipality of Alcaracejos filed a report. He explained how unknown perpetrators accessed the property during his absence and forced entry into several rooms used as storage.
From these storage areas, they stole various agricultural tools, including blowers, olive harvesters, brush cutters, a grinder, and several cans of motor oil, along with other materials, with a total value exceeding 4,000 euros.
Following an on-site inspection, the investigation was handed over to the ROCA Team of the Córdoba Civil Guard, which specializes in rural crimes. Agents focused their inquiries on several individuals and established discreet surveillance on a residence linked to the suspects.
During the surveillance, a pick-up type vehicle loaded with tools and machinery was detected. The occupants could not prove the legal origin of the items, leading to their seizure. The victim later unequivocally identified the recovered machinery as that stolen from his farm days earlier.
The operation has successfully clarified the theft and recovered all the stolen machinery for its return to the owner.
