The alert for the fire was received during the afternoon of this July 4. The flames originated in the area known as Sierra del Castillo, triggering an immediate emergency response to prevent the fire from spreading.
For the extinction efforts, Infoca has deployed an operation consisting of 32 ground personnel supported by two fire trucks. Simultaneously, the aerial attack includes the participation of a semi-heavy helicopter, two land-based air tankers, and two light amphibious aircraft.
