The Avenida de la Constitución in Belmez will become the stage for «Efecto Mariposa», a cultural proposal that is part of the 2026 program of the Active Citizenship School. The event, organized by the Provincial Council of Córdoba, will take place at 9:00 PM.
This multidisciplinary performance unites circus, dance, theater, and music, aiming to create a dialogue between different forms of artistic expression through a staging focused on movement and performing arts.
The creation and performance of «Efecto Mariposa» are by Pablo Sánchez, Yumi Ruiz, and María Hames, who is also in charge of the overall proposal. The visual concept of the work is represented by a butterfly and elements evoking movement and water, accompanied by the phrase 'The flutter of a butterfly can cause a tsunami on the other side of the world'.
The activity is part of the 2026 program of the Active Citizenship School, an initiative promoted by the Provincial Council of Córdoba under the slogan 'Together we improve,' thus expanding the municipality's cultural offerings for the month of September.
