Following the events that took place last week, representatives from the regional administration visited the school to offer their support to the staff and management team. The intervention is part of the Law on the Recognition of Teacher Authority, which establishes specific protocols to protect education professionals in violent situations.
The activated protocol includes the intervention of the Educational Inspection and the recording of actions within the Séneca system. Furthermore, the regulations provide for the work of the Teacher Support Units, which are responsible for guiding affected teachers and facilitating the management of necessary legal and psychological assistance.
During the visit, the importance of ensuring a safe environment in classrooms was highlighted. The Civil Guard is continuing its investigation into the incident, having already arrested one person allegedly involved in the events.
