The Civil Guard, as part of operation 'Alhauris', has arrested a person in Alhaurín el Grande for their alleged involvement in multiple property crimes. The investigation began after observing an increase in such offenses in various areas of the municipality, particularly in scattered settlements.
Investigators noted a similar modus operandi in all incidents. The perpetrator accessed vehicles parked on plots, isolated homes, or entered them, stealing easily transportable items like small electronic devices. In two particularly serious incidents, the detainee entered private properties while residents were present, threatening them with a bladed weapon when discovered to facilitate his escape.
The geographical proximity of the incidents, the method used, and the evidence gathered allowed officers to identify the detainee and link him to a total of six property crimes, two of which involved intimidation.
The arrested individual had a prior judicial warrant for similar offenses. Following his arrest, he was brought before the court, which ordered his imprisonment for continuous theft and robbery with intimidation.
