The Coín Town Council has unveiled the official poster and program for its Spring Festivals, which will take place over four days filled with activities. The presentation event was held at the Antiguo Convento Santa María de la Encarnación, attended by municipal representatives and various local associations.
“"We will have more than 20 live artist performances and we will meet again one more year together in our streets and with our traditions."
The musical offering is one of the main pillars of these celebrations, with a total of 22 shows designed for all audiences. Among the featured performances are the concert by Celtas Cortos, as part of their '40 años contando cuentos' tour, as well as presentations by Demarco Flamenco and Marisol Bizcocho. The lineup is completed with groups such as Los Piratas Flamencos, the Orquesta ACOMPAS, Los de En Medio (an Estopa tribute), Callejón, Electroduendes, Retroactivos, and La Experiencia Latina.
Additionally, the municipal equestrian booth will offer its own program with live music from artists like Rubén Fernández and Fran Valero, alongside Marisol Bizcocho. It will also host equestrian shows by José Ramón "Chamo" and Rafael Arcos.
Local traditions will play a fundamental role, with the celebration of the Day of the Cross on Sunday, May 3. During this day, the Santísimo Cristo del Perdón will tour the streets to visit the elderly and infirm, a May crosses competition will be held, and a solemn procession will take place at night. Also, on May 1, the traditional pilgrimage to the hermitage of Nuestra Señora de la Fuensanta, patron saint of Coín, will be carried out.
