The works, commissioned by the mayor, Joaquín Villanova, focus on renovating the median of this 182-meter-long street. New shrubs and artificial grass will be incorporated to enhance its appearance and provide a design similar to that used in other areas of the municipality.
Additionally, the intervention is being used to renew public lighting by installing new lampposts and to improve pedestrian accessibility. Sidewalks will be lowered to facilitate pedestrian traffic and eliminate architectural barriers.
The Councilor for Operational Services, Rodrigo Jiménez, visited the area to supervise the progress of the works, which aim to improve the aesthetics, functionality, and safety of this important access road.
Recently, similar work was carried out on Manantial Avenue, within the same urbanization. There, a 72-meter median was completely renovated with artificial grass, Cycas revoluta specimens, and a new irrigation system, in addition to reforming public lighting and improving pedestrian transit.
Both interventions are part of the redevelopment and improvement plan for Los Manantiales, which includes progressive actions on sidewalks, pavement, and infrastructure to modernize public spaces and enhance the quality of life for residents.
