The donation, made by Doña María Ángeles Jiménez Arroyo, pays tribute to the memory of her late husband, Don Jesús Galaviz Campos. It fulfills one of his wishes expressed during his lifetime: that his collection of medium-format books with fine luxury bindings would become part of the municipal heritage and be available to the citizens of Zuheros.
The volumes will occupy a prominent place in the Boardroom of the Town Hall. They will remain there as a permanent tribute to Jesús Galaviz Campos and as an integral part of the City Council's cultural heritage.
During the formalization ceremony, the mayor, Juanma Poyato, signed the donation document alongside Doña María Ángeles Jiménez Arroyo. The council has expressed its sincere gratitude for the generosity shown, making it possible for this legacy to endure forever in Zuheros.
