Furthermore, a new intervention valued at around 800,000 euros will be put out to tender to improve the entrance to Priego from the Almacenes Yébenes area, also focused on reinforcing road safety.
The completion of the pedestrian promenade between Zagrilla and El Esparragal, and the progress of the pedestrian access works between this hamlet and its cemetery, with an investment close to 200,000 euros, were also highlighted.
The visit concluded at the CO-8211, where resurfacing works are underway with the application of a new asphalt layer to improve the road's condition and driving conditions.
