The fairgrounds in Lucena buzzed with festive energy for the inauguration of the Feria Real de Nuestra Señora del Valle. The official ceremony was attended by the Municipal Corporation, led by Mayor Aurelio Fernández. This year, the honor of lighting the fair fell to CD Ciudad de Lucena and its president, Jorge Torres, acknowledging the club's history and its recent promotion to Segunda RFEF.
The fair features a new 16-meter high entrance, adorned with over 61 decorative arches, 2,000 meters of garlands, and more than 300,000 LED lights, along with approximately 15,000 lanterns. This year, the fair takes place from Tuesday to Saturday, following a new schedule requested by the fairground workers' association and approved in council.
The opening day included an afternoon with popular prices on attractions for children. Following the institutional ceremony, the Caseta Municipal became the hub of the night's festivities with music provided by León Animación. This free-entry venue will also host the main performances over the coming days, featuring a diverse program of artists from various styles, youth-oriented events, and local acts.

The musical lineup continues on Wednesday the 9th with Dúo Néctar (5:30 PM) and Argentina y su grupo cubano (10:30 PM). On Thursday the 10th, Rockopop (6:00 PM) and Mago de Oz (11:00 PM) will perform. Friday the 11th will feature María de la Colina (6:00 PM), local artist Alejandro Alba Sánchez (Doni), and Tete Pineda (10:00 PM), concluding with José de Rico at midnight. The final day, Saturday the 12th, will see performances by Los Cenacheros (5:00 PM), Vinilo 8.0 (7:00 PM), and Javi Medina (10:00 PM).
The fairgrounds are complemented by various dance and food stalls, food and drink vendors, and around twenty children's attractions, offering entertainment for all ages. Families can also utilize the Children's Playroom next to the Caseta Municipal, equipped with games and entertainment throughout the fair.
Measures for accessibility, safety, and inclusion are maintained, including a Lactation Room, a Violet Point, a Safety Zone, identification bracelets for minors, and specific attention for individuals with noise sensitivity, alongside a special deployment of security, emergency, and health services.
Mayor Aurelio Fernández highlighted the efforts of the various municipal departments, workers, and involved groups, encouraging residents and visitors to enjoy the fair, which "once again fills Lucena with activity, music, tradition, and encounters."
