For the third consecutive year, Lucena's Coso de los Donceles will become the epicenter of Andalusian youth bullfighting. The bullring will host the new generations of the bullfighting world in a project focused on their training and promotion. The event, which aims to enhance the city's image, will be broadcast live by Canal Sur.
The event's presentation was attended by the Councilor for the Presidency, Francis Aguilar, and the president of the Pedro Romero Andalusian Bullfighting School, Eduardo Ordóñez. Aguilar expressed gratitude for the trust placed in Lucena to host the final of a circuit that travels through various Andalusian municipalities and has gained prominence.
Eduardo Ordóñez explained that 42 students, aged between 14 and 17, from different Andalusian bullfighting schools have participated this year. Following the qualifying rounds held during the summer, the highest-scoring participants will compete in the final in Lucena.
Invitations to attend the free event will be available from mid-August. They can be collected at designated points by the City Council, including the Tourist Office and the Castillo del Moral. The organization reminded attendees that the bullring has ample capacity, and it is expected that all the public will be able to gain access.
