Senior category teams can now register to participate in this sporting event that combines competition, gastronomy, and outdoor leisure activities. The proposal aims to offer a complete experience to participants, who can set up camp, play matches at dusk, and enjoy local cuisine.
The competition is aimed at Senior Women's Football 7 teams, aged 15 and over. Interested teams have until August 14th to confirm their attendance. Matches will be played at the Valdearenas sports facilities, located next to the Lago de Andalucía, the largest reservoir in the autonomous community.
Beyond the matches, the tournament will offer a social program including camping facilities, a traditional breakfast, a joint lunch, and activities such as canoeing and aquagym, aiming to promote sports from a different perspective.
The tournament will award 1,700 euros in prizes: 1,000 euros for the champion team, 400 for the runner-up, and 150 euros each for the third and fourth-placed teams. The Peña Madridista “El Biombo” of Iznájar is organizing the initiative, which was created to promote Women's Football 7 and foster camaraderie among teams from different parts of Andalusia. The entity was a pioneer in having a women's section managed entirely by women.
