The Hermandad of María Santísima de la Cabeza has announced the celebration of its Solemn Triduum in honor of its patron saint. The liturgical events will take place from July 30 to August 1 and will include the recitation of the Holy Rosary, Eucharistic celebrations, and various musical performances.
The first day of the triduum, Thursday, July 30, will begin at 8:30 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary. Subsequently, at 9:00 PM, Holy Mass will be celebrated, officiated by D. Javier Rodríguez Calmaestra, with the participation of the Coro San Francisco.
On Friday, July 31, the day will start at 8:30 PM with the Holy Rosary and the second day of the triduum. Holy Mass, also officiated by D. Javier Rodríguez Calmaestra, will take place at 9:00 PM with accompaniment from the Grupo Voces con Solera. At the end of the ceremony, on the esplanade of the CEIP Virgen de la Cabeza, a Popular Fair and Ham Festival will be held.
The services will conclude on Saturday, August 1. At 8:30 PM, the Holy Rosary will be recited, and the third day of the Solemn Triduum will be celebrated. At 9:00 PM, the Solemn Religious Function will commence, presided over by D. Javier Rodríguez Calmaestra and concelebrated by the hermandad's chaplain, D. Ramón Martínez Montero. During the ceremony, the Grupo Rociero de Priego will perform.
