The competition will traverse a total of ten municipalities in the Subbética region: Cabra, Carcabuey, Rute, Almedinilla, Iznájar, Encinas Reales, Benamejí, Doña Mencía, Luque, and Fuente Tójar.
Félix Romero, delegate for Economic Development, Promotion, and Employment of the Provincial Council of Córdoba, highlighted the event's importance as an "economic engine and an unparalleled promotional showcase" for the province, establishing itself as a top-tier national event for junior cycling.
The participation of 26 teams from Spain, Portugal, France, and Italy is expected, totaling 182 junior riders. Among them is the winner of the previous edition and current Spanish road race champion, Benjamín Noval.
The cyclists will tackle a 310-kilometer route with an accumulated positive elevation gain exceeding 6,100 meters, including challenging mountain passes such as the Alto del Peñón and the Alto de Rute, as well as strategic intermediate sprints and hot spots.
