These grants will be integrated into the state network and are particularly aimed at rural territories with an aging population, more vulnerable to high temperatures. The call is divided into three lines: Line A for individual shelters, Line B for the creation of shelter networks by public administrations, and Line C for the adaptation of educational centers as climate shelters.
Public and private non-profit entities, as well as public administrations, are eligible to apply for this aid. Funding can cover up to 80% of the project, with maximums of €50,000 for Line A, €300,000 for Line B, and €250,000 for Line C.
The deadline for submitting applications is October 15, 2026. Applications will be processed online through the Biodiversity Foundation website.
