The project, managed by the Gardens and Environment Special Employment Center, covers both the urban center and the surrounding villages. This method represents a technical improvement over previous efforts, allowing for more precise and tree-friendly application.
The investment for the new equipment totals 3,509 euros, including VAT. The system uses a fine-gauge needle that minimizes trunk incisions, avoiding deep drilling and reducing environmental impact through localized application.
A key advantage of this technology is safety, as it does not require preventive measures for residents, such as closing windows or restricting access. Furthermore, the equipment's versatility allows the council to use various phytosanitary products based on each tree's needs, without relying on pre-dosed commercial formats.
