The Ministry of Development, Territorial Planning and Housing has announced the temporary closure of the A-6050 road, affecting the section between the intersection of the Frailes crossroads and the beginning of the Castillo de Locubín bypass. The works focus on the rehabilitation of the road's surface.
The scheduled closure times are as follows: Monday, June 16, from 09:00 to 19:00; from June 17 to July 1, from 08:00 to 19:00; and every Friday within this period, from 09:00 to 14:00.
Alternative routes have been established for both directions of traffic. For those traveling from Castillo de Locubín to Valdepeñas de Jaén, options include using the N-432, A-316, and JA-3301, or taking the N-432 to Alcaudete and continuing via A-6051 and A-316. In the opposite direction, from Valdepeñas de Jaén to Castillo de Locubín, alternatives are the JA-3301, A-316, and N-432, or the JV-2262, JA-4302, A-403R1, and N-432.
The Ministry has stated that access will be facilitated for property owners in the area, provided that heavy machinery does not completely occupy the roadway.
