This year's program, running through Sunday, combines international acts with participatory activities. Following the opening ceremony, the town is hosting forums at the Palacio Abacial, film screenings at the Teatro Martínez Montañés, and musical performances at the Town Hall Square and the Fairgrounds.
The schedule includes workshops on various disciplines such as crafts, sustainability, percussion, and circus, designed for all ages. The festival, part of the Jaén en Julio initiative, continues its commitment to sonic diversity, featuring international groups that blend tradition with avant-garde sounds.
Throughout the weekend, spaces like the Paseo de los Álamos host Etnochill sessions, while the Literature Classroom prepares to close the event with gatherings linking poetry and music, reaffirming the participatory nature of this cultural event.
