The Councilor for Festivals, Rocío Garrido, has presented an advance of the program for the 2026 Real Feria de San Mateo. This edition's main image is the work “Abacial” by Raúl López Martín, with “Miradas de feria” by María López Castro as the back cover.
The councilor highlighted that the schedule will offer proposals for all audiences, combining music, children's and family activities, events related to the world of horses and livestock, as well as bullfighting.
The fair will begin on Thursday the 17th with a reception for seniors at the Caseta Municipal, enlivened by Melody Lorca. At 8:30 PM, the Giants and Big-Heads Parade will take place, followed by the lighting ceremony, which this year will be led by young Paloma Muñoz in recognition of her excellent academic results. Afterwards, the Orquesta Vintash will perform.
On Friday the 18th, the main concert will be by Kiko y Shara, as part of their “Nuestra Historia” 20th-anniversary tour. The night will continue with “Eh Festivi Wonder”, a show featuring hits from the 80s, 90s, and 2000s.
During Saturday the 19th and Sunday the 20th, the Praderas del Coto will host the Livestock Fair. On the 19th, the Horse and Ribbon Race, organized by the Association Friends of the Horse (ADECA), will also take place. The evening will conclude with the Orquesta Taxxara.
Sunday the 20th will feature a performance by Mago Resmyn and other family activities. At 5:00 PM, the bullfighting event will be held, and in the evening, Gran Deluxe Orquesta will perform.
On Monday the 21st, Children's Day will be celebrated, with attractions priced at €2.5. The fair will conclude with a performance by the quartet Dolce Luna.
The councilor thanked all the individuals involved in the organization, including municipal workers, companies, associations, collectives, fair operators, stallholders, security forces, and emergency services.
