The situation across the province of Seville has seen significant progress over the weekend. According to Infoca, the fire reported in Villanueva del Río y Minas is now under control, meaning the perimeter is surrounded by a control line, although some hot spots may remain within the area.
In Guillena, the fire was declared stabilized mid-morning. While not yet fully controlled, the situation is evolving favorably as there are no active fronts allowing the fire to spread freely. A team of eleven professionals and one fire engine remain on-site to continue monitoring and suppression work.
Meanwhile, the fire in Morón de la Frontera remains active. Aerial resources, including a medium-heavy helicopter and two light amphibious aircraft, have been deployed to combat the flames. The ground operation involves 75 professionals, supported by heavy machinery and specialized units for meteorology and command.
