The educational centers Andalucía and Guliena in Guillena, Ntra. Sra. del Carmen in Torre de la Reina, and Virgen del Rosario in Las Pajanosas welcomed their students after maintenance and improvement works carried out during the summer.
The Andalucía school has the highest number of enrollments with approximately 600 students, followed by CEIP Guliena with 300. Both offer morning care, dining services, and extracurricular activities, along with educational programs like Erasmus and Learning Community at Guliena, which is also a bilingual center.
In Torre de la Reina, the Ntra. Sra. del Carmen school has welcomed about 160 students, also providing dining and morning care services. Meanwhile, CEIP Virgen del Rosario in Las Pajanosas, a bilingual center involved in European programs, has also opened its doors to its students.
The municipality's four nursery schools opened on September 1. The academic year for the El Molinillo institute and the Adult Center will commence on Tuesday, September 15.
The Education Department of the City Council has invested approximately 80,000 euros in painting, repairs, and space adaptation works across the four schools. Notably, the primary school's rear patio and its access at CEIP Ntra. Sra. del Carmen in Torre de la Reina underwent a comprehensive renovation.
