The presentation took place this Thursday at the Biblioteca Viva de al-Ándalus, where the pilgrimage and floral offering procession posters were unveiled, along with a special bulletin commemorating the 790th anniversary of the Reconquista.
One of the most notable novelties is the exclusive perfume Alma de la Sierra, created by the perfumery Esencia de los Patios. This fragrance has been conceived as a sensory offering, using elements that narrate the journey of the Linares pilgrimage, from its beginning to the arrival at the sanctuary.
According to the brotherhood, the departure of the pilgrim procession is recreated with a fresh mandarin citrus explosion, representing the golden light that bathes Córdoba on the morning of the pilgrimage and the vibrant joy of the floats. The path to the sanctuary is evoked by the delicacy of orange blossom, Córdoba's quintessential aroma, which provides a floral and virginal freshness, symbolizing the purity of the Virgin of Linares as the Immaculate Conception and the blossoming of spring.
“"This woody and spiritual note anchors the fragrance, recalling the incense that blends with the pure air of the mountains and the deep peace breathed on the day of the solemn procession of the Captain and Conqueror of Córdoba."
The solemnity of prayer is achieved with a touch of palo santo, a woody and spiritual note that evokes the incense and the peace of the mountains during the procession.
The Real Círculo de la Amistad will host the proclamation of the Linares pilgrimage this Friday, April 24, which will be delivered by a speaker and presented by a broadcaster. The event will feature a performance by the Real Centro Filarmónico Eduardo Lucena. The proclamation of the Romera Mayor and her court of honor is also planned, as well as a tribute dinner for this year's speaker. The Linares pilgrimage, part of the popular May festivities program, will take place next Sunday, May 3.
