The Education Department of the Linares City Council has organized an event to honor the academic performance of 6th-grade Primary Education students. As a new addition this year, the ceremony also included students from the Elementary Grade of the ‘Andrés Segovia’ Professional Music Conservatory. In total, 104 students from nine city schools and the music center were recognized at a ceremony held at the Cervantes Theater.
This initiative aims to highlight the work carried out during the school year by students, teaching staff, and the educational community as a whole. The Councilor-delegate for Education, Rosario Jódar, along with other municipal representatives, attended the event, which featured a performance by local artist Lolo Fernández and his clown show titled ‘Piano, piano’.

Rosario Jódar emphasized that the commitment of the Education Department goes beyond legal competencies, firmly supporting comprehensive training. Throughout the year, complementary projects have been promoted, such as emotional health workshops, road safety education, cardiopulmonary resuscitation and healthy habits sessions, child participation forums, and cultural and sports activities. 'All of this responds to the same idea: offering opportunities. Because every boy and every girl deserves to discover what they are capable of,' stated the councilor.
