The ERACIS+ team, in collaboration with the Social Services Area of the Vícar City Council and various third-sector entities, has celebrated the 1st ERACIS+ Family Aquatic Games in Vícar. The event, which served to bid farewell to summer before the new school year, brought together over 70 participants at the Parque del Libro in La Gangosa.
Throughout the morning of last Tuesday, families enjoyed a program of aquatic activities and cooperative games designed for all ages. Among the most popular dynamics were aquatic pétanque, sponge basketball, rubber duck fishing, agile cup races, and a classic water balloon fight. The event concluded with a foam party.
The mayor of Vícar, Antonio Bonilla, accompanied by the councilors for Social Services, Almudena Jiménez and Cristian Díaz, attended the activity. The mayor highlighted the importance of these gatherings for "strengthening bonds between neighbors and offering the youngest ones a local, fun, and healthy leisure space".
The ERACIS+ technical team positively assessed the day, emphasizing the importance of networking and close collaboration among all involved entities for the successful development of the event.
This initiative is part of the Local Social Inclusion Plan created by the Vícar City Council, participating in the Andalusian Regional Strategy for Social Cohesion and Inclusion, ERACIS+, co-financed by the European Union and the Junta de Andalucía.
