The Linares City Council has paid institutional tribute to the Social Promotion Association 28 de Febrero on its 25th anniversary, acknowledging its work and trajectory in the city.
The Social Promotion Association 28 de Febrero has been honored by the Linares City Council in an event held at the El Pósito Auditorium. This recognition, promoted by the Federation of Neighborhood Associations Himilce, fulfills a unanimous plenary agreement by the Municipal Corporation.
The mayoress, Auxi del Olmo, presented the distinction to the association's president, Julio Gallego. The event was attended by numerous members and authorities, who reviewed the milestones of this Linares-based entity, currently heavily focused on volunteer work.
The commemorative gala concluded with the musical performance Acento Andaluz, featuring José Manuel Cuenca on piano, singer Nazareth Romero, and dancer Rosa Linarejos González.
