The city of Linares concluded its 2026 LGTBIQA+ Pride Week with a large celebration held at the old Silo del Cereal, located on Gardenia street. This recreational and social event marked the final flourish of an intense week of institutional, cultural, and advocacy activities.
The initiatives developed over the past few days focused on promoting collective visibility, respect for affective-sexual diversity, and the defense of fundamental human rights, as part of the municipal campaign ‘Linares diverse in every corner’.
The evening, organized by the Equality and Diversity Area of the Linares City Council, began around 10 PM. The venue attracted a large audience in an atmosphere of tolerance, civility, and citizen harmony, transforming this space of local civil architecture into a hub for the collective's artistic expression.
The Silo del Cereal stage hosted live musical performances by Ana Cárdenas and Carlitos Hojas, as well as the stage expressiveness of Drag Sant’elle and the rooted performances of Paca Merino.
The rhythmic ambiance and musical closing of the day were handled by the joint sets of DJs Rayman and Tomás Ballesteros. With this event, Linares solidifies its summer diversity agenda, reaffirming that public spaces are natural forums for free coexistence and mutual respect.
