The National Vice Secretary of Finance, Housing, and Infrastructures of the Popular Party, Juan Bravo, made an institutional visit to the facilities of the Specialized Sports Technification Center (CETD) in Linares. During the tour, he was accompanied by the president of the PP of Jaén, Erik Domínguez, the provincial general secretary, Elena González, and the local president and mayor of the municipality, Auxi del Olmo. This sports complex, which includes a residence for underage athletes, has undergone renovation and expansion with a joint investment of over one million euros between the Junta de Andalucía and the City Council.
In his meeting with the directors of the Real Club Tenis de Mesa Linares, Bravo highlighted the recent victory of the women's team —Cliniqas.com— in the European Cup in Serbia, calling it a historic milestone for the club and regional table tennis. The popular leader emphasized that these facilities exemplify collaboration between administrations and civil society, praising the model promoted by former counselor Javier Imbroda to integrate academic training, residence, and high-performance sports.
Bravo also stressed the urgency of providing the province of Jaén with better infrastructure for its socioeconomic convergence. He urged the materialization of pending railway projects, the completion of highway axes like the A-32 to Albacete, the promotion of public housing for young people, and the industrial impulse, citing the Santana Science and Technology Park as an example of reactivation.
In the political arena, he criticized what he considers an "executive paralysis" by the central government, attributing to Pedro Sánchez's administration a "systematic lack of public management" and the existence of stalled projects. Bravo concluded by calling for administrative agility to respond to citizen demands and ensure societal progress.
