The National Police has dismantled a family clan in Linares dedicated to the sale and distribution of cocaine and hashish. Four individuals, of Spanish and Colombian nationality and aged between 39 and 49, have been arrested and remanded in custody by judicial order following their appearance before the Court of Instance of Linares.
The investigation, codenamed ‘Operation Raso’ and carried out by the Narcotics Group of the Local Judicial Police Brigade of the National Police Station of Linares, began in mid-2025. Officers intercepted a Colombian national carrying over three kilograms of cocaine. Analysis of the haul led to the identification of the actual owners and distributors of the substance, as well as the final recipient, with the initially arrested individual being the transporter.
The inquiries revealed that part of the criminal group operated from the district of Estación de Linares-Baeza, where they maintained a retail point for cocaine and hashish, with connections also in Málaga. After gathering sufficient evidence, investigators requested authorization from the Court of Instruction of Linares to conduct house searches at the properties of the main individuals involved.
The searches, executed with the collaboration of the Response Operational Group of the Provincial Police Station of Jaén and other investigative groups from the Local Brigade of Linares, resulted in the arrest of three more individuals. Seized items included 213 grams of cocaine, 18.97 grams of hashish, 11,740 euros in cash, two 9-millimeter handguns ready to fire, a 12-millimeter long gun, five precision scales, and various materials for preparing doses. In total, the operation has led to the seizure of 3.213 kilograms of cocaine.
The investigation remains open, and officers do not rule out further arrests in the coming days.
