The incident occurred minutes after 1:00 PM, when a witness alerted the 1-1-2 emergency service to a head-on collision between two passenger cars on the A-312 road, near kilometer 1 heading towards Úbeda.
The coordination center immediately activated the necessary resources, including the 061 Health Emergencies Center, the Guardia Civil traffic division, the Local Police, and Road Maintenance services.
