The municipality of Prado del Rey, located in the Sierra de Cádiz, has hosted an informative session regarding aid for self-employed individuals and farmers impacted by recent storms.

The session, held on April 21, was attended by representatives from regional and local administrations, who explained the details of the subsidies. The primary goal of this aid is to sustain economic activity and employment in areas affected by the severe weather.
During the meeting, the profiles of potential beneficiaries and the necessary criteria for accessing these grants were specified, including the commitment to maintain activity and jobs. It was also emphasized that application procedures must be carried out exclusively online.

"The aid is intended for self-employed workers and small and medium-sized enterprises with the aim of contributing to the maintenance of economic activity and employment in areas affected by the series of storms recorded in recent months."

Regarding deadlines, aid lines 1 and 2 can be applied for until June 30, while line 3 will remain open until October 5. The processing of these aids will be under a non-competitive regime, meaning applications will be resolved in order of submission, provided they meet all established requirements.
The management will be entirely electronic and automated, and the payment of the subsidy, once granted, will be made in a single payment covering 100% of the approved amount. This initiative is part of the actions promoted by the Ministry of Employment, Business and Self-Employment to facilitate the recovery of the local productive fabric after adverse weather events.
