The influence of a DANA will be felt in the province of Cádiz, ushering in a variable meteorological scenario. Although showers and cooler weather are expected, forecasts indicate that the impact will be more moderate compared to other areas of southern Spain, where much heavier rainfall is anticipated.
Friday will mark the beginning of this episode, with overcast skies and scattered precipitation in various locations. In the Campo de Gibraltar, particularly in Algeciras, light rainfall is expected. The Bay of Cádiz, including the capital, will experience a similar pattern, with scarce rain and clouds predominating. Temperatures will remain stable, with lows ranging between 15ºC and 16ºC over the weekend.
The Sierra de Cádiz, especially Grazalema, will be the most affected area, with higher rainfall accumulations than the rest of the province. Saturday is expected to be the most unstable day, with the possibility of the DANA leaving up to 9.6 liters per square meter in Grazalema. In Jerez de la Frontera, rains will be moderate, while the coast anticipates a more contained situation, with morning showers in the capital.
The distribution of precipitation will show a clear contrast between the municipalities of Cádiz, with the sierra concentrating most of the water and the coast remaining largely unaffected by the heaviest accumulations. This situation, characterized by irregular rainfall dependent on topography, is typical of spring in the region.
Improvement is expected from Sunday onwards, with a progressive stabilization of the weather. Rains will subside, and temperatures will begin to rise, especially inland. By Monday, clouds are expected to recede, and temperatures will increase, leading to an almost complete return to normal conditions in many areas of the province.
