Firefighters from the Jerez station of the Provincial Fire Consortium of Cádiz (CBPC) successfully carried out the rescue of a sheep that had fallen into a well in the locality of El Portal, within the municipality of Jerez.
The rescue operation began on the afternoon of Saturday, May 23rd, after receiving an alert through the emergency services. A team of four firefighters was dispatched to the scene with two vehicles and specialized equipment, including a tripod, to ensure the animal's safe extraction.
The sheep was safely removed from the well without any injuries. Officers from the Local Police of Jerez were also present at the location to collaborate and oversee the operation.

In a separate incident, the 112 emergency service handled a traffic accident that occurred on the A-384 road, at kilometer 25, in the mountain town of Villamartín. The event took place shortly after 9:30 PM.
According to initial reports from callers, a car had veered off the road and overturned, trapping several individuals inside. The coordination center promptly dispatched medical services, the Civil Guard Traffic unit, firefighters, and road maintenance personnel.
As a result of the accident, four women sustained injuries: three were 27 years old, and one was 22 years old. All were transported to Villamartín Hospital for medical attention.
