The city of Malaga will once again see a hot air balloon flying over its skies on October 17th, this time transformed into a stage for an electronic music party.

The initiative, organized by San Miguel, commemorates the 60th anniversary of the inauguration of its factory in Malaga, which began operations in 1966. The event will gather approximately 2,000 people at the La Malagueta Bullring, which will be adapted to host sets by DJs Vikii, Aaron Sevilla, and Les Castizos.
The brand thus revives an iconic image from its advertising history in the city, as in 1983 San Miguel already used a similar aerostat in the Plaza de la Constitución. Now, 43 years later, the balloon returns as a protagonist, this time as a musical platform.
The bullring gates will open at 6:30 PM, with music starting at 7:00 PM with DJ Vikii. The highlight will be the balloon's ascent, serving as the main stage. At 9:00 PM, Aaron Sevilla, known for his connection to Afro House and Indie Dance, will perform, followed by the Malaga duo Les Castizos from 11:00 PM, who will close the night with an electronic set.
Access to the event will be free but requires obtaining tickets through the San Miguel Seeker Pass. To participate, attendees must collect three 'pincodes' from the collars of San Miguel bottles at participating hospitality establishments or make a purchase of over five euros in the brand's products at participating supermarkets and food stores. Upon meeting either condition, participants will receive a QR code for entry to the venue, which has a capacity for 2,000 attendees.
This celebration underscores San Miguel's close relationship with Malaga, where the factory has been an industrial and hospitality pillar since its opening six decades ago. The revival of the hot air balloon aims to reconnect with the city's collective memory and evoke the brand's presence in the urban landscape of the eighties.
