Xerez DFC to face Sevilla Atlético in pre-season friendly
The blue team prepares for promotion to Tercera RFEF with a friendly against the white reserve team led by Diego Galiano.

Xerez DFC has scheduled a friendly match against Sevilla Atlético for August 7th at Chapín, as part of their preparation for the 2026/27 season in Tercera RFEF.
Xerez DFC is finalizing the details of its pre-season training with the aim of facing the 2026/27 season in Group X of Tercera RFEF with guarantees. The campaign, whose official calendar was approved by the Andalusian Football Federation (RFAF), will kick off on the first weekend of September.
The promotion system to Segunda RFEF will undergo significant changes, with a national play-off and pairings decided by a pure draw, allowing for matchups between teams from different groups.
The sporting direction and technical staff of Xerez DFC have planned a total of eight friendly matches. Two already confirmed are against Atlético Saluqueño, recently relegated from Primera RFEF, and against Jerez Industrial, from Primera Andaluza.
An attractive duel against Sevilla Atlético has been added to this list. The team will be managed next season by the Jerez-born Diego Galiano. The match will take place on August 7th at the Chapín stadium at 8:00 PM, as announced by the Seville club on their social media.
This encounter is shaping up to be one of the first in front of the Xerez fans, who will be able to see the new sporting project in action. Sevilla Atlético, also relegated from Primera RFEF, arrives in Jerez with almost a month of preparation, having started their pre-season on July 13th.
