The event, which coincided with a Sunday, attracted a large crowd that witnessed dangerous scenes as well as opportunities for thrilling runs. According to the initial injury report, nine people received medical attention, one for a gore and the rest for various contusions. The bulls from Cadiz caused numerous bumps and tumbles through the streets of Pamplona, with a particularly tense moment at the descent to the alley.
The herd left the corral of Santo Domingo in a compact group, but soon two reddish bulls, led by a steer, broke away. The climb up the hill allowed runners to get in front of the bulls, enjoying long runs in the Plaza Consistorial.
The bulls entered Mercaderes on the right side of the street, clearing the area where a goring occurred on Saturday. One of the animals slipped but quickly regained its pace. They navigated the curve towards Estafeta without major difficulty, where the bulls maintained a steady rhythm that facilitated longer runs than usual.
In the second part of Estafeta street, four bulls fell behind after stumbling over a group of runners on the right side. A black bull ran half the course alone, with its companions several meters ahead, accompanied by the steers. In the Telefónica section and the descent to the alley, one bull charged a group of runners, causing the only penetrating wound in the elbow by a bull's horn, which was treated at the Plaza de Toros.
The herd completed the course in two and a half minutes. In the afternoon, the bulls from La Palmosilla will be fought by Fortes, F. Adrián, and Samuel Navalón in the penultimate corrida of the festival.
