The iconic entrance of the April Fair, this year inspired by the Consulate of Portugal and Charles V's gazebo at the Alcázar, will be illuminated with over 28,000 LED bulbs. This design commemorates the 500th anniversary of the marriage between the monarch and Isabella of Portugal, a historic event celebrated in the Andalusian capital.
Seville's fairgrounds are preparing to welcome thousands of visitors, featuring an impressive entrance measuring 40 meters in height and width, 5.70 meters in depth, and a structure incorporating over 30,500 meters of tubing and nearly 3,800 square meters of paneling. The construction of this ephemeral engineering marvel required more than 6,000 carpentry pieces.
From 10:00 PM, various media outlets will offer special live coverage to capture the festive atmosphere of 'Lunes del Pescaíto' night and the culminating moment of the 'Alumbrao' at the Real de la Feria, welcoming one of Andalusia's most anticipated celebrations.
