The July plenary session of the Seville Provincial Council will present the 'Sevilla de Cien' proposal, a plan that will inject 100 million euros into municipalities. This investment includes 25 million euros for a new Provincial Plan for Works and Services, along with funds for the Más Sevilla Turístico program, co-financing of European funds, investments in culture, rural roads, democratic memory, and subsidies for the Consorcio de Bomberos (Firefighters Consortium) and the Universidad Pablo de Olavide.
This new financial injection joins ongoing programs such as Más Sevilla, 107, or 2030, and aims to promote territorial, digital, and energy efficiency cohesion actions, as well as co-financing of European projects. The measure complements existing plans for public housing and the Consorcio de Bomberos.
The provincial institution has an initial budget for the fiscal year of 656,410,640.86 euros, a 7.5% increase compared to the previous year and the most expansive in the last decade. The accounts, approved on November 20, 2025, did not resort to debt or tax increases, but were financed through treasury reserves and the extinction of previous loans.
The plans are based on the principle that municipalities themselves decide on the development of projects, with provincial technical assistance for smaller towns. The Más Sevilla program, funded with 100 million euros from reserves, finances municipal projects for sustainability, digitalization, and tourism infrastructure. Complementarily, the Sevilla 107 program allocated 95.7 million to 105 municipalities and two Autonomous Local Entities (ELA). The Más Sevilla Turístico program (2026-2027) will have 20 million euros to consolidate sustainable tourism and boost rural areas.
Recently, the Seville Provincial Council approved redesigning the Strategic Subsidy Plan for Culture and Citizenship Area 2025-2028, including a line of 200,000 euros annually for the defense of consumer rights.
