The city of Seville is preparing for the May Day long weekend with an extensive program of activities including cultural, gastronomic, and leisure proposals, many of them outdoors, from April 30 to May 3.

During these festive days, both residents and visitors will be able to enjoy a complete experience in a unique setting, taking advantage of the pleasant spring weather. The offerings range from strolls through its emblematic neighborhoods and parks to events and activities in open spaces.
Among the cultural proposals, the La Fundición Theater will host the comedy The Manchurian Crane, a play that explores couple relationships through a marriage of 30 years. The performance will be available from April 30 to May 8, with tickets starting from 8 euros.
For electronic music lovers, Electrolunch XXL returns to Seville with a double event on May 1 and 9. The event will take place in Magallanes Park, next to the Guadalquivir River, and will feature DJs, food trucks, a market, children's activities, and workshops. Admission will be free until 5:00 PM.
The Ateneo de Sevilla will organize the 30th session of «Las Lecturas del Ateneo», dedicated to the biography of Emilia Pardo Bazán written by Isabel Burdiel. The colloquium, moderated by a professor of Greek Philology, will feature the participation of a tenured professor of Spanish and Hispanic American Literature from the University of Seville. The event will be on Thursday, April 30, at 7:00 PM in the Ateneo Assembly Hall.
Finally, Paseo de Colón will be the setting for Caracolia 2026, the gastronomic festival dedicated to snails and seasoned potatoes. This event, held from April 30 to May 2, will offer the opportunity to taste typical seasonal products, such as snails, cabrillas, and other varied tapas, in a festive atmosphere next to the Guadalquivir.
