The Faculty of Law at the University of Seville is hosting the First International Congress on Social Security and Free Trade Agreements, where professors from around the world are debating the future of Social Security in a global context.

The law firm Bidón Abogados, which also serves as the headquarters for the Consulate of the Philippines, inaugurated this significant event. Over the next few days, the congress will take place at the university facilities, bringing together specialists to address the challenges and prospects of Social Security in an increasingly interconnected world.
At the opening ceremony, José Ignacio Bidón y Vigil de Quiñones, head of Bidón Abogados, welcomed the attendees. Also speaking were Antonio Ojeda Avilés, emeritus professor of Labor Law and Social Security of Seville and organizer of the congress, and Enrique Millo, Secretary General for Foreign Action of the Junta de Andalucía, who emphasized the event's importance for Seville.

"He highlighted the importance of this congress in Seville."
