The twenty-ninth edition of the Sevilla Triathlon will take place in June with record participation, a new urban route, and the Olympic Andalusian Championship.

The Sevilla Triathlon is gearing up to break records in its upcoming edition, solidifying its status as a benchmark national popular sporting event. The race, scheduled for next June, will feature unprecedented participation numbers and introduce significant changes to its course, aiming to enhance the experience for both athletes and spectators.
The 2026 edition marks a milestone by hosting the Olympic distance Andalusian Championship, which will elevate the competitive level and draw the region's and the nation's top triathletes to the Cartuja Island.
The course has been redesigned to be more urban and visually appealing. The swimming leg will start near CAN Triana, the transition zone will be located at the Navigation Pavilion, and the running segment will traverse recognizable city landmarks like Paseo del Río and Jardín Americano, concluding at a new finish line near Torre Sevilla.
This reorganization aims to boost Sevilla's appeal as a sports and tourist destination, amplifying its economic impact. The event is noted for its strong draw from outside Andalusia, attracting triathletes from all over Spain.
The competition will advance its start time to 8:00 AM. The Olympic distance will crown the Andalusian champions, featuring a 1.5 km swim, 39 km cycle, and 9.6 km run. It will be complemented by Sprint and Super Sprint categories for various skill levels.
The event is supported by institutional backing from the Seville City Council, the Andalusian Triathlon Federation, and the Junta de Andalucía, along with private entities. It maintains its popular and inclusive spirit with categories like the Triathlon of Equality.
