After a short break, the Sevilla FC squad rejoined training this Saturday at the sports city. The session was focused on the upcoming league commitment, which will take place on Thursday against Levante at the Ciutat de Valencia. This match is fundamental for the Nervionense team in its objective of moving away from the relegation positions.
In this return to work, the coaching staff had almost the entire team available. The only absences were defenders César Azpilicueta and Marcao. The former will not be available for Thursday's match, and his participation in the game on Sunday, April 26, against Osasuna at El Sadar is uncertain. On the other hand, Joan Jordán and Alexis Sánchez rejoined the group after completing specific training.
“"The team now faces eight days of maximum demand with two decisive matches, especially Thursday's as it is against a direct rival, where a victory would be a step towards that longed-for salvation."
The team's schedule for the coming days is intense. After Sunday morning's training, they will continue on Monday in an afternoon session and on Tuesday in a morning session. On Wednesday, they will hold the last training session at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán before the coach appears at a press conference. After the match in Valencia, the squad will rest and resume work on Friday, concluding with the last session on Saturday before traveling to Pamplona.
