This Thursday, July 2nd, and Friday, July 3rd, the plaza will be the stage for two shows featuring various artists paying tribute to the figure who revolutionized flamenco. Performances will begin at 10:30 PM.
Among the confirmed artists for the tribute are Los Estanques and El Canijo de Jerez, Mesalla, Cristian de Moret, José de los Camarones, and Pedro Pimentel, performing on the first day. The second day will feature the show 'Yunque, Clavo y Alcayata', along with performances by Duquende, El Farru, May Fernández, Rubio de Pruna, and Rosario de Montoya.
These initiatives are part of the ‘Año Camarón 2026’ (Camarón Year 2026), promoted by San Fernando to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the birth of this influential flamenco singer, considered a symbol of the town and of flamenco.
The memory of Camarón remains alive in the streets and squares of San Fernando through activities such as the Camarón Experience, the Camarón Route, and the Camarón Awards, the final of which was held on July 2nd at the Teatro de las Cortes.
