The event, set for 7:30 PM at the “Severiano Alonso” municipal auditorium, is designed as an open forum for citizens to discuss one of today's most pressing social challenges. The activity, titled “The Difficult Access to Housing,” will be led by Enrique Almisas Albéndiz, a professional with extensive experience in urban planning, real estate management, and sustainability.
The event will be introduced by Encarnación Niño Rico, the second deputy mayor of the Rota City Council. During the conference, key topics such as the evolution of the real estate market, the role of public administrations, and strategies to meet existing housing demand will be addressed.
Enrique Almisas boasts a strong academic background, including a degree in Physical Sciences from the University of Seville and a master's degree in Management and Administration of Real Estate and Construction Companies from UNED. His professional career spans training, public management, and real estate development.
During his tenure as councilor for Urban Planning and Housing at the Rota City Council and CEO of the Rota Urban Development Company, Almisas promoted initiatives to improve urban planning and facilitate housing access. Currently, he serves as director-manager of a company in the real estate sector, providing him with a comprehensive perspective on the issue.
This conference will offer a technical and in-depth view of a problem affecting various groups, especially young people, families, and vulnerable individuals. The speaker's experience will be crucial for analyzing the factors influencing the market and exploring alternatives to improve housing access.
The Ateneo de Rota thus continues its commitment to offering a cultural program that fosters public debate on current issues, seeking to bring socially relevant content to citizens and promote active participation in community matters.
