The event, which took place on a floating platform, served to present the continuation of the television universe of Money Heist. The singer performed two of her best-known songs, Reliquia and La Perla, from her latest album, Lux.
Thousands of people gathered at key points such as Betis Street, the San Telmo Bridge, and the Paseo de las Delicias to follow the staging. Rain, music, and a grand visual display marked the evening, with the Guadalquivir and the Torre del Oro illuminated in red, the emblematic color of the series.
The Banda del Sol de Sevilla opened the show with Bella Ciao, while a boat sailed the river with cast members. A highlight was the appearance of the actor who plays “The Professor,” who confirmed the continuation of the Money Heist universe, five years after its last season.
“"All project preparations were kept under maximum confidentiality. Rehearsals began on Friday at the Teatro de la Maestranza and continued through Saturday morning directly on the platform installed on the Guadalquivir."
The collaboration with the Royal Seville Symphony Orchestra (ROSS) was kept secret. Rehearsals were held at the Teatro de la Maestranza and on the floating platform itself. Participation in this event coincided with a busy schedule for the ROSS, which was also preparing a concert at the Teatro Cervantes in Linares and another event in its From Beethoven to Brahms series at the Teatro de la Maestranza.
