The Andalusian PSOE will feature the presence of its Secretary General and Prime Minister in the final acts of the electoral campaign. The first event will take place on Wednesday the 13th in Pulianas, Granada, a traditionally socialist stronghold. Subsequently, on Friday the 15th, the socialist leader will be present at the campaign closing in Seville. On both occasions, he will accompany the candidate.
The Wednesday event in Pulianas is scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM at the Municipal Sports Pavilion. This will mark the Prime Minister's third participation in the Andalusian campaign since its official start on May 1st.
The Prime Minister was already present in Málaga and Cádiz at the beginning of the campaign. His debut occurred on the first day, coinciding with Labor Day, closing a rally in Cártama. Last Sunday, he returned to Andalusia for an event in La Línea de la Concepción, which had been postponed as a sign of mourning for the death of two Civil Guard officers in an accident while on duty.
With the events scheduled for Wednesday and Friday the 15th in Seville, the Prime Minister will have visited Andalusia on four occasions during the electoral campaign. These appointments are in addition to two pre-campaign events he led on Sundays, April 19th and 26th, in Gibraleón, Huelva, and Córdoba, respectively, also alongside the candidate.
The PSOE-A aims to improve upon its results from the 2022 regional elections, where it secured 30 deputies in the Andalusian Parliament. On that occasion, the PP-A, led by Juanma Moreno, achieved an absolute majority with 58 seats. Despite polls suggesting a potential decline in their electoral base, the Prime Minister has insisted in his rallies that there is still a "game to be played" in these elections.
