A total of 2,586 candidates began civil service examinations for teaching positions in the province of Cádiz this Saturday, a process that will continue over the coming weeks and involves 39 evaluation tribunals.

The selection tests for access to various teaching bodies in Andalusia within the province of Cádiz commenced this Saturday, with 2,586 candidates participating. This process, set to extend over the next few weeks, is being conducted at the designated venues within the university campuses of Jerez de la Frontera and Puerto Real.
Regionally, the call for applications brings together over 21,300 candidates. The examinations cover all teaching specialties announced this year in the autonomous community, with the exception of Early Childhood and Primary Education. Saturday's proceedings mark the beginning of one of the most significant selection processes in the Andalusian educational calendar, notable for both the volume of participants and the number of positions offered.
To ensure the proper execution of the tests, 39 tribunals have been established in the province of Cádiz. The members of these tribunals are responsible for evaluating the candidates throughout the various stages of the procedure, which will continue for a significant part of the summer.
During this period, candidates will need to pass several assessments, including the evaluation of specific knowledge, pedagogical competencies, and the defense of teaching plans and units, tailored to their respective specialties.
Teaching civil service examinations represent a primary pathway to public employment in the educational sector, annually attracting a considerable number of professionals from both Andalusia and other autonomous communities. The Regional Ministry of Educational Development and Vocational Training has organized the necessary logistics to coordinate these tests across the Andalusian provinces, aiming to uphold the principles of equality, merit, and capacity governing access to the teaching profession.
