The Councilor for Senior Citizens, Virginia Barrera, highlighted the municipal commitment to providing a stable program tailored to the interests of seniors. The goal is for them to enjoy songs that have marked their lives, expand their circles of friendship, and promote more active and participatory aging.
The cycle also seeks to revive the Moreno de Guerra promenade as a place of sentimental memory for the residents, a meeting point to continue creating memories. The concerts, with free admission, will start at 8:30 PM.
The program begins on August 13 with Cayetano Fernández, a finalist from 'La Voz', followed on August 20 by DJ Julio with 70s disco music. On August 27, Merche Aleu, Daniel Bommati, and Sergio Monroy will perform covers, and the cycle will conclude on September 3 with Inma Lara and Adriano Lozano in a copla and flamenco show.
This initiative, through the Department of Childhood, Youth, and Senior Citizens, reinforces the range of cultural and shared leisure activities, considered fundamental tools for active aging and the well-being of citizens.
