The Sevillian hotel chain NÜA Hotels has announced the acquisition of the Hotel Casa Imperial and the transformation of the convent of San Alberto Magno into a guesthouse, aiming to double its turnover.

The Sevillian hotel chain NÜA Hotels has announced a significant expansion in the Andalusian capital with the acquisition of the Hotel Casa Imperial and an agreement to convert the convent of San Alberto Magno into a guesthouse. These operations, representing a joint investment of nearly nine million euros, aim to strengthen the group's position in the boutique hotel and charming accommodation segment.
The reopening of the Hotel Casa Imperial, a four-star establishment closed since the pandemic, is scheduled for September 2026. Meanwhile, the convent guesthouse, located in the historic center of Sevilla, will open its doors in 2028. With these two new additions, NÜA Hotels will have nearly 200 rooms in the Sevillian historic quarter.
The company, which currently operates six establishments in Sevilla, forecasts doubling its turnover to ten million euros by 2028. This growth will be supported by the consolidation of its business model, focused on strategic locations and personalized experiences, and by entering the restaurant business with the terrace of the Casa Imperial.
The renovation of the Hotel Casa Imperial will require an investment of 3.5 million euros and will be led by architect Manuel Sánchez Ordóñez. The property, located next to the Casa de Pilatos, will feature 31 rooms. The rehabilitation of the convent of San Alberto Magno, declared a Site of Cultural Interest, will involve an investment of five million euros and will house 33 rooms, combining the hotel experience with the preservation of the building's historical and religious heritage.
Although the company does not plan for external investors in the short term, NÜA Hotels is exploring future expansion opportunities in destinations such as Cádiz, Málaga, or Madrid, maintaining its philosophy of authenticity and heritage value. The brand, created less than two years ago, builds upon the prior experience of the Álvarez Núñez sisters in the construction and hotel management sectors.
